That moment stopped me in my tracks. How could something so common, a simple downspout edge, be so dangerous?
From Problem to Purpose
I searched for a fix and found nothing. So I made one.
In my garage in Minnesota, I began creating and testing, determined to create a simple, affordable way to make every home with downspouts safe and complete.
A few prototypes later, I had a solution: a sleek, slide-on cap that covered sharp edges completely, no tools, no hardware, no hassle. The first SpoutTrim was born.
From One Home to Thousands
Word spread quickly. Neighbors wanted them. Contractors inquired about bulk orders. Homeowners sent photos of their finished downspouts, proud, safe, and complete.
Today, SpoutTrim has protected thousands of homes and families across the country.
